How to Cook Roast Chicken | Chicken Gravy


  • 1 whole chicken
  • Fresh marjoram 30 g
  • Fresh parsley 30 g
  • Fresh basil 30 g
  • Butter 50 g
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 red onions
  • 2 bulbs of garlic
  • Flour 1 tablespoon
  • Water 50 ml
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Starts with chopping some fresh herbs. Take marjoram, parsley, basil. Season the herbs with salt and pepper. Drizzle some olive oil. Give that a good mix.
  2. Then, take a whole chicken. Get your fingers between the skin and the breast of a chicken, very gently not to break the skin. Place a half of your herbs along with 50 g of butter between the skin and breast.
  3. Next, put a lemon into hot water. Then, place the hot lemon into the chicken. It will let the lemon cook properly and give all the juices. Then, rub the second half of herbs into the chicken.
  4. Next, fix the chicken’s legs with butcher’s string.
  5. Place the chicken into the baking tray. Cut 2 red onions in halves and place them into the tray along with 2 bulbs of garlic.
  6. Place your chicken into the oven at 225 degrees C for 1 hour.
  7. When cooked, prepare chicken gravy. Place the tray on gas and add a tablespoon of flour. And mash it. Add 50 ml of water and bring the gravy to boil. Finally, sieve the gravy into a separate bowl.
  8. Cut the chicken and serve it with amazing delicious gravy.
