How To Cook Chicken In Milk

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken (broken down)
  • Milk 1 lit
  • Fennel seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Butter 150 g
  • Garlic 1 bulb
  • 1 onion
  • 1 lemon
  • Sage 6 leaves
  • Cinnamon stick Β½ stick
  • Fennel 1 bulb

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Here you will learn how to cook the most incredible chicken cooked in milk. This dish is made with the whole chicken that was broken down. We will use legs, thighs, breast and wings. Take all these parts of your chicken and generously season them with salt and pepper. Then, sprinkle some fennel seeds.
  2. Heat a deep pan, add 150 g of butter and place your chicken skin down. Cook until golden on both sides.
  3. Next, add a whole bulb of garlic and an onion cut into wedges. Take 1 bulb of fennel and finely chop the green part. Then, cut the bulb itself into quarters.
  4. Then, add lemon zest and 6 leaves of sage. Next, add a half of cinnamon stick. Next, add 1 liter of milk into the pan, along with some lemon juice.
  5. Turn the heat down, cover the pan with pan shaped baking paper. Cook your chicken for 1,5 hour.
  6. In 1,5 hour, leave the paper off and let it reduce down for 15 minutes.
  7. Serve your delicious chicken with freshly cooked polenta. Place your chicken and all other ingredients on the top.
