- Boiled rice 300 g
- Mushrooms 400 g
- 1 red onion
- Garlic 2 cloves
- 3-4 cornichons
- 4 silver-skinned onions
- Capers 1 tablespoon
- Parsley 1 handful
- Olive oil
- There are lots of different kinds of stroganoff: pork stroganoff, chicken stroganoff, beef stroganoff. In this recipe you will learn how to cook Jamie Oliver mushroom stroganoff. For this dish you will need to cook the rice in advance for 2 people.
- Start with 400 g of mushrooms. Choose the mushrooms you like. Roughly chop your mushrooms and place them into a medium-hot heat without oil. Let the moisture dry out.
- While your mushrooms are cooking, finely slice 1 red onion and 2 cloves of garlic. Place the onion and garlic into the pan. Season with salt and pepper, then, add some olive oil. Change to low heat.
- Chop 3-4 cornichons, 4 silver-skinned pickled onions. Add them to your veggies along with 1 tablespoon of capers. Then, add a nice pinch of paprika and a handful of chopped parsley. Next, add 1 tablespoon of crème fraiche and a swig of water.
