How to Cook Filo Chicken Kiev


  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 4 filo pastry
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Parsley 4 sprigs
  • Lemon zest Β½ teaspoon
  • Butter 100 g
  • Broccoli florets 150 g
  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon
  • Vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Start with lovely garlic butter. Grate 2 cloves of garlic and chop 4 sprigs of parsley. Mix garlic and parsley and add a pinch of salt and pepper. Then, add Β½ teaspoon of lemon zest. Take 100 g of butter; make sure that your butter has room temperature. Mix the butter with garlic mixture.
  2. Take 4 chicken breast fillets. Make a pocket in each fillet and place some garlic butter in.
  3. Take 4 sheets of filo pastry and wrap each fillet with it.
  4. Put your wrapped chicken into the baking tray.
  5. Mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of vinegar, give that a good mix. Take a brush and spread this mixture over the wraps.
  6. Cook your chicken at 200 degrees C for 25 minutes. Put the tray at the bottom of the oven, that will make your dish crispy at the bottom and golden at the top.
  7. Take some broccoli florets and add to the tray 10 minutes before the chicken is cooked.
  8. Serve your Chicken Kiev with mashed potatoes.
